- Ellen Wong as Knives Chou
- Kieran Culkin as Wallace Walls
- Jason Schwartzman as Gordon Graves
2. What is this story about? Be very detailed!
It is 2010 in Toronto, Canada during a very cold winter Scott Pilgrim (Michael Cera) is an unemployed 23-year-old bass guitarist in an up-and-coming garage rock band called “Sex Bob-omb” he is dating a cute perky 17-year-old high school girl, Knives Chau (Ellen Wong). He is having fun in life just rolling around until one day Ramona Flowers (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) roller-blades into his life. Ramona moved to Toronto from New York City to find peace and quiet and leave her past behind. No one knows what her past is, but Scott will find out very soon as he tries to make Ramona his new girlfriend. Before Scott can begin dating Ramona, he must prove himself by defeating the league of her seven exes who controls her love life. They will do anything to get rid of and destroy any new boyfriend Ramona may consider. If Scott wants to find true love with Ramona, he must defeat all seven, before the game is over.
3. What group of people would like this movie (demographics)?
I think that young adults would like this movie because it has very inside jokes that only a mature would understand. Also this movie has a lot stereotypes that children would not understand at all.
4. Did you like this movie? Why or why not?
I liked this movie because it was funny and alot of stereotypes based on culture, music, and everyday lifestyles. This movie could have gone deeper in the chemistry between Ramona and Scott. The best part of the movie were when Wallace would discourage to the extent where it was somewhat supportive.
5. What rating would you give this movie?
I would give this movie a 3 out 5 stars. Amazing special effects and comedy, but could have gotten deeper chemistry between Ramona, and Scott.
6. What spoilers might ruin the movie for viewers if you told them about it?
Some spoilers I would reveal are that Ramona, and Scott get together in the end. Also that knives becomes a crazy maniac when Scott dumps her. And Ramona's ex boyfriend Gordon Graves was the one who formed the league of exes.
7. All movies teach a lesson (theme/moral). What did you learn from this one?
The moral of this movie is to never give up if you care for someone or something deeply. Like how Scott had to defeat seven exes because he was in love with Ramona, and he wanted to be with her.
“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” the only movie that truly portrays the difficulties of having a girlfriend.
