Rob Ford: Media Bias

Rob Ford storms out of his on Conference

This article explains how Rob Ford stormed out of his press conference because a reporter asked the reference letter he wrote to the licencing tribunal for a low-truck driver. So he left because nothing the reporters were saying was relevant.

Article 2: http://www.torontosun.com/2013/06/14/raid-not-about-rob-ford\

Raid not About Rob

This article was talking how Rob Ford was not part of Project Traveller. This project was launched a year ago before Rob For was involved, and the wire tapes showed that Rob Ford is not involved.

Article 3:http://www.torontosun.com/2013/10/21/i-am-so-f-------mad-at-you-rob-ford-to-sun-columnist

I am so f------ mad at you: Rob Ford to Sun Columnist
Rob for was angry at a Toronto Star columnists because he called him out for what was unfair. Also Rob
was upset because that Toronto Sun columnist was writing false accusations about him.

Article 4: http://www.torontosun.com/2013/10/13/mayor-rob-ford-live-on-the-radio

Mayor Rob Ford defends Robocalls
Mayor Rob Ford basically went on the radio and said that the robocalls were target at the neighborhoods of southeast Scarborough to let the residents that their local councilor has voted against the Scarborough subway.

Article 5: http://www.torontosun.com/2013/09/08/ford-retrieves-donated-football-equipment

Ford retrieves donated football equipment
Mayor Rob Ford brought his office team got to Don Bosco Catholic School to collect the football equipment he donated. The reason behind this was because the Toronto Catholic School Board has already paid for new equipment.

The reason why newspaper portray Mayor Rob Ford in a negative way is because while his term of being of being Mayor he did a really poor job. So the newspaper columnists portray him in this light so he will leave. But don't forget these columnists who write these articles are Toronto citizens who are residents and are under the power of the Mayor, so to get their points across without causing any harm they state their opinion so they can have change, and the Mayor cannot do anything about that because it is called freedom of expression if he did it would make him violate their human rights. But sometimes these columnists are biased they only do these articles based on their opinion they should get the Mayors viewpoints then weight out how bad he really is.

In the third article I found it is pretty obvious that it wasn't Rob's most proud moment. He was sitting having dinner, and a columnist came up to him and started questioning nobody wants that. So it is understandable that anyone would get mad under those circumstances. It makes him look really bad. Like he does not control over emotion he has to learn to take these things to emotionally because after his term of being Mayor he hasn't been good Mayor so he has to keep his cool so he does not look even worse which the columnists wants. It basically says that he is a Mayor who does not know how to be civilized at a public place. C'mon Rob your the mayor a person of power, a public figure to the people of Toronto I think you should be able to handle an annoying columnist.

In the fourth article I think it made him look really good. A dedicated mayor to the people of Toronto who donates football equipment to a school he coaches. That kind of story would make anyone look. But the funny thing about this article is that the school gave back the equipment because the Toronto Catholic School Board has already bought the school equipment. So it's looks like he is a bad mayor trying to cover up his tracks by giving "charity".
