Benoit
Benoit is a Quebec citizen that lives in a Lebanese community which he struggles with because he can only speak french. Which is difficult because he wants to make friends other people but might not be able to because of the language barrier. This is similar to me because when I use to live in Montreal I lived in a "white" community where nobody really understood my cultural customs so it was hard to talk to people about holidays, or what clothing they were wearing for celebrations. But I had to try and find a comprise within myself to try and fit in with my community so we traded words I would say something in Somali, in return they would say something in French so eventually we learned from one another. Something that is different is how Benoit knows himself, and what he wants to do with his life, he knows what his passion is. I am still trying to figure out what I want to do as a career. And that is hard because I don't know myself all that well. I think that my life, and Benoit's life isn't that different than mine but there are some aspects of his life that connects to my life, that is very different from mine like what he wants to do with his life.
